Debra Hocking

Debra Hocking Debra Hocking, from the South East of Tasmania, a stolen generation survivor and descendant of the Mouhenneer people, is Indigenous Co-Chair of the National Sorry Day Committee. She is Indigenous Chair of Achieving Reconciliation Tasmania, and has worked for many years on Aboriginal community health issues. She has received the United Nations award for the year of the Culture of Peace and the Human Rights award for humanitarian Activities in Tasmania.
